Clean Slates and Empty Plates

I accidentally deleted my posts.

I thought they were old drafts and without thinking I clicked select all and hit the trash icon.

I was surprised at how unaffected by it I was.

...

The reintroduction to red has proven to be challenging and rewarding; the girl in the red shoes threw out the beat up, dirty, Keds knock-offs and traded them in for some simple yet fashionably chic Tory Burch flats, Poor as a choice proved that with discipline, a plan, and a goal that anything can be achieved, and the devil you know continues to hold hands with the devil I don't causing quite a bit of heartache. But in spite of all these self-produced investigations and travels, the girl in the red shoes conquers giants and slays dragons leaving a trail of blood and tears in her wake. Now, she has to learn how to befriend the giants and tame the dragons in order to find some peace and turn the search inwards.

A radically changing perspective is banging its hands against the cage and rattling my brain to the point where I can't think clearly. Or, I'm thinking more clearly than ever and unable to reconcile the reality I engage with daily and the reality I hope to be a part of.

So, this chapter marks something new.

a reintroduction to red part two.

Whatever that means.
